Utterly confusing online check in

The checkin flow needs a better design. Too many different check in options and buttons to click just to check in for a flight that the app knows about already. Especially confusing if the booking is for more than one passenger. Now that Ive succeeded. I might like it better, but still to many screens and clicks; click the flight you want to check in; scroll to the bottom past all the check in options to click Provide Passport information: instead of passport information a dialog asks to confirm you approve sharing information with all passengers on the booking, but tick the box that says you approve before clicking continue, then back to the page with all legs of the trip, find the flight for which you want to check in, choose how to receive the boarding pass and then click Check in Now but first tick the Check in Now box, then a page with all passengers on the booking, choose the flight you just checked into, request to download the boarding pass, the app shows the boarding pass, then it says the boarding pass isnt saved, so click the Add link.
