Stepped thru checkin, but was indicted I couldn’t, but upon restarting checkin I got boarding pass 🤷♂️. Started in the app, but prompted to “open” the app, also prompted to “download” the app 🤷♂️🤷♂️.
Thought the app couldn’t be clunkier than the website, but at least the website has the decency to *pretend* to load instead of erroring out with the same booking number and last name I already checked in with. What a waste.
Hard to get passes. Had to go to .com to get what I needed.
Hard to navigate between several bookings. Why must I log out of one booking to see another existing booking.
Did not track changes of gate so almost missed my flight
Shouldn’t an application be functional independently rather than merely a link to the website? There are a few things that can be done via the app, but otherwise is sorely lacking.
Worst airline app. Can’t buy upgrade on it without calling. App takes you to desktop version and continues to show, Open App. Clunky. Doesn’t show boarding time nor tracked baggage. Many of competitors already doing this
This app is awful. It continually links me back to the web and offers no info about linking to AA Advantage. It also made me pick a name that was always already available. So bad
This app is basically a browser window to the website. You get a popup messages that says ‘view this page in the app’ when you are in the app. Navigation is slow and the data is not accurate. It shows me as not checked as not checked in after I was onboard my flight. Needs serious work.
Cannot view both boarding passes even though both passengers were checked in.
This app is a joke. It doesn’t work. It can’t find my reservations, or I get errors. BA should be embarrassed by this non working joke of an app. Other airlines manage to have functional apps.

The app constantly fails and takes forever to load
Every time I use this app, it takes ages to load or says retry. To get anything done you have to go through several links and it takes ages
No matter what I do I get an error every time I try logging in even though it works on the website. I’ve contacted help nothing has worked.
Without question the clunkiest and most poorly implemented airline phone app on the planet. It shouldn’t take 10 minutes to check in, while requiring a birth date three separate times, but it does!
The BA app is so far behind most other carriers. Constantly glitchy and has misinformation. Opens up web view instead of actually doing actions within the app.
Somehow cannot process personal information
It was very difficult to confirm confirmation through your app and to pull the ticket information
Why do I need to check in 5 times on the app to get my boarding pass!!
Impossible to print or download multiple boarding passes from the same booking via the app. Even gate agents couldn’t do it. 🙄
Terrible app, shows seat upgrade options that are not available and when you call customer service there is “nothing they can do”
Clunky and counterintuitive
On checking, the system said that I would be delayed if I did not scan in my passport on the iPhone app. So I downloaded the app. Nowhere to scan in passport! Other than that, app seems fine!

Horrible app that doesn’t let me sign in or look up my flight with a booking reference. Tried on two separate occasions before leaving to my destination and then again when coming back home, leaving me unable to check in.
This is the worst travel app I have ever used. I can’t pull any booking info up. Have to use the website.
Not a great app, bounces around to website and back to app. can’t pull multiple boarding passes of one confirmation. Limited capabilities. Not an efficient app

Tried to book a flight but kept getting “We were unable to retrieve your account information.” on the app. On the site, it is “We're sorry, something went wrong Please go back and start your booking journey again.” This is not the first time I’ve seen the issue again. Few hours later. Logged off and in. Tried a booking but got “We’re sorry, something went wrong” .
It’s very slow.
Wow! While using the app it takes you to a web portal in the app and prompts you to download said application. It doesn't properly save your information even if they send you an email receipt. Lastly it's not clear how to get tickets if you have more than one person. I've used worse airline applications but this one is up there for sure.
They shouldn’t ask for reviews until it is fixed.

Attempted to log in using the same credentials I do through the web and it returns a useless error message. I even tried using the membership number (bc they don't allow you to use your email on the app - that would make too much sense). I guess I'll just stick to the website, which is also unpleasant to use.
I pressed to call flight attendants I was ignore.
Continually errors out and won’t let me log in. What is the point of 2FA if your app can’t handle it?
Truly mind bending how many glitches and nonsense this app has.
App login does not work and constantly returns a “something went wrong” message so it is impossible to access your account.

I miss the days when my only complaint was being taken to a website to do most things and telling me I should install the app. Have not been able to log in for 6 months now. Can log into web no problem.
I always have said American Airlines has the worst app and the worst customer service. Well now British airways has taken the top spot for the worst app for airlines. Unable to check in, change seats, get boarding passes, as the app just dumps you into dead end domains… horrible…
The on line check in tells me I can verify my passport with the BA mobile app. This option doesn’t exist on my version of the BA app even though I have the latest version from the app store.
It constantly shows error messages. Then stopped working all together. Couldn’t do anything on the app at all. Which is a pain when you’re at a hotel & can’t print boarding passes & can’t save them on your phone either!
It seems like the British Airways app always has issues - whether that be crashing, not letting me log in, glitching, getting frozen on a screen, to name a few… At this time, I have tried everything to get back logged into my account via app, but have had no luck. Which leaves me having to use my computer for checking in, and I can’t retrieve my mobile boarding pass. Wish it was more user friendly and reliable, to be honest.
The app opens a web browser version inside the app that tells you to open the app at the top. Dumb. Then nothing is ever working in the app and my gate is never update in the app. British Airways is garbage
BA, you have to be better. This is the worst airline app I’ve used. The organization and flow of onboarding is disjointed. The in App out to App website experience clearly points to some weird disfunction in your IT business model. Please fix this, your brand is valued, but your online onboarding experience is bullocks.
